Hey there! My name is Brittany and I joined the amazing Uptown Vet team in March 2021. I have loved animals pretty much all my life. I am a graduate from NC State with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a minor in Health and Human Values. I began my career in veterinary medicine back in 2011, and I have had the pleasure of working in specialty, emergency and general practice; but general practice will always have my heart. I also have a soft spot in my heart for exotics, especially reptiles. I have two dogs, Virgo (pictured) and Dash. I also have a leopard gecko named Nechi. In my free time, I enjoy watching the latest movies and self-teaching new craft hobbies. I look forward to meeting all of you and taking care of your sweet fur babies!

Growing up in a rescue family, all I ever wanted to do was help an animal in need any chance I could. While going on my 4th year of Vet Med, I joined Uptown in 2020 of January, where I quickly learned a lesson that I still live by today - “ Slow progress is better than no progress!” Finding a career in Veterinary Medicine has been a lifetime goal of mine and I’m so happy to have found a practice that provides patience and teamwork. While not at UVH, you can find me binge watching shows with my dog, Raven, at hobby lobby or spending time with my nieces!! Except on Sundays, you’ll find me on my couch watching football with my Husband, Elijah!! (GO PANTHERS!!)

I've been a member of the Uptown Vet team since January of 2018. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, baking things that are terrible for me, kayaking, and reading. My passion is caring for animals, and I will do everything I can to make sure your furry family members are happy and healthy!

I am originally from New York, growing up on Long Island.  I studied veterinary medicine at St. George's University on the island of Grenada and finished at NC State for my clinical year.  I then went back to New York with my wife Sara to do an internship in New Jersey and worked as a general practitioner in Brooklyn and Queens.  We then moved to Gainesville Florida where my wife completed her residency as a veterinary cardiologist.  We then made our way  back to North Carolina to settle in Charlotte.  My favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Dentistry.  When not working I enjoy hiking and kayaking, checking out restaurants and breweries, and spending time with my dog Maisy, and two cats Cinder and Daredevil

Hi there! My name’s Laura. I recently moved to Charlotte from Utah an am so excited to be a part of Uptown Vet! I made the switch from human medicine to animal medicine a few years ago and haven’t looked back. I love meeting new pets and getting to know their unique personalities! In my free time I enjoy reading, playing sports, and spending time outdoors with my husband and our sweet dog Chewy. 

Hello, my name is Tracy, and I am a true charlotte native. I was born and raised in the heart of the city. My passion is to provide quality care for you and your pet and I have a genuine sense of compassion for every member of your fur family. I have a fur baby of my own, a 2 year old Australian Shepherd name Thor. In my free time I enjoy spending it at the dog park along with my friends and Thor's friends or going on hiking adventures with our group of dog friends and parents. My primary goal is to pursue my passion in continuing my education in the veterinary field and I am thrilled to be a part of Uptown Veterinary Hospital

Growing up in the beautiful state of North Carolina, with grandparents living on a farm, I had a foundation built on a deep love for animals of all kinds. According to my mom, I would bring home abandoned bunnies, frogs, insects, and anything else I found on my adventures. This passion made my career path a natural decision. Being a Veterinary Technician is my dream come true, and I am fortunate to continue my education here at Uptown Veterinary Hospital.  For fun, I enjoy every minute I can with my family: my husband, Brian, two Pitties, Diesel and Reggie, and two bunnies, Peaches and Melvin. I also love to garden, cook, bake, and craft. Above all, my time with family is what I cherish most.

Hi my name is Tierra, I am a new addition to the Uptown Vet team! I am originally from Virginia but recently relocated to Charlotte. I have had a passion for animals since I was little and decided to continue that passion by obtaining my bachelors degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech. I have worked with animals of all sizes and love being able to help animals and their owners! On my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two pitbulls Ace and Khione or binge watching shows!  

I grew up in Minnesota and completed my undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the U of M.
