I was born in Scranton, PA, but grew up in Greensboro. My husband and I moved to FL, GA, and Ohio before finally making our way back to North Carolina nearly 20 years later. It was hard leaving Cincinnati, where we raised our family and made great friends, but it's good to be home.
Background
Growing up with an assortment of pets including a dog,
hamsters, and fish may have led to my initial love for animals. I love
being a part of keeping pets healthy so choosing a career centered
around animals was easy. I decided to pursue my Veterinary Technician
degree at the University of Cincinnati, Blue Ash and graduated in 2009.
In
addition to our 4 children we also have a 14 year old Collie mix named
Gracie, and a 7 year old cat named Oliver. In my spare time I enjoy
spending time with family and friends and love doing anything outdoors.
I'm very excited to be joining the team at Uptown veterinary Hospital and look forward to meeting you and your pets.
